dc.description.abstract Water is an essential element for the existence of life in its various forms on the surface of the earth and the people needs in his daily life to the water for drinking so we studied for the design of a water treatment plant in alkawa city in Sudan ,The study including known of the stage of the treatment of surface water and the objective of this study including to production to meet the requirements of the water on three stages ( this year – 10 years – 20 years ), the city is located on the white Nile , noting that the city close to the source surface (White Nile) using some devices from mixing , basin coagulation and flocculation, filter and storage by simulation used super pro designer software by adding after materials such as poly aluminum chloride (P A C) and chlorine by different quantity from the three stages and the recommendation of this study conducted project in the future and must provide safety equipment. en_US
