Abstract:
يهدف هذا البحث لمعرفة اداء طلاب المرحلة الثانوية في الاستماع للغة الانجليزية. الاستماع من اهم مهارات تعلم اللغة الانجليزية . هذه الدراسة تبحث في مشكلات الاستماع في اللغة الانجليزية التي تواجه الطلاب . و عينه الدراسة تتكون من طلاب و طالبات المرحله الثانوية . تم جمع البيانات بواسطة الاستبانة استخدم الباحث المنهج التحليلي الوصفي . و نتائج هذه الدراسة اوضحت ان اللهجة , السرعة في الكلام و المفردات من اعظم المشاكل التي تواجة الطلاب في المرحلة الثانوية . و اوصي الباحث بانه: يجب علي المعلمين استخدام الوسائل التعليمية عند تدريس الاستماع الي اللغة الانجليزية . كما اوصي الباحث بعمل بحوث في مجال الاستماع للغة الانجليزية و وضع الاستراتجيات لتحسينة لدى الطلاب .

This study aims to investigate the Students performance in listening comprehension. Listening is one of important skills in learning English. The study investigates the problems faced by students when they listen to English. The case of the study is secondary schools students. The questionnaire was used in data collection, the researcher used descriptive method. The findings shows that accent, speed of speech and vocabulary were the great problems faced the students in secondary schools. The researcher recommendations were teachers most used authentic materials when they teach listening comprehension. Further researches most be conducted in listening comprehension.
