dc.description	The study tackles the problem of the residential land use in kosti town during 1990 – 2015. The study aims at knowing the problem of the residential land use in the study area, and to find solution for these problem to assist specialists related to the field. The study used many approaches include the historically approach to follow the problems historicaly, the descriptive and analytical approach to describe the physical and human features in the area, in addition to the statistical approach to analyze the obtained data, where the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) were need for analyzing the data. The primary tools for collecting data which include observation, interviews with specialist and the questionnaire. The secondary tools for collecting data were used which include, books, reference, university thesis, government reports and the internet. A questionnaire includes (302) respondents representing 10% of the whole households in the study area were designed the simple random sample was used for selecting respondents from the suburbs of the town. The study concluded to many results including the extension of residential landaus includes the agricultural area around the town, where 13.2% of respondents realized this, also the study reveals that the residential landaus includes the open spaces, also the study explains that some residential areas have been planned in low lands and this will make them subjected to floods by 5.3% of respondents, Also the study shows that the residential landaus cause pressure to educational services by 20.5% of respondent, and by 77.5% to health services. The study recommended many recommendations to solve the problems of the residential landaus in the study area, includes the indicatives should be away from the residential areas, also to stop planning residential areas in low lands, to stop the exertion of residential areas on agricultural areas, and the open spaces, the health and educational services should be provided to margin areas and to find solution to squatter settlements	en_US
dc.description.abstract	تناولت الدراسة مشكلات استخدام الأرض السكني بمدينة كوستي للفترة 1950 – 2018م، وهدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مشكلات استخدام الأرض السكني بمنطقة الدراسة وإيجاد حلول لهذه المشكلات لتساعد جهات الاختصاص. استخدمت الدراسة عدة مناهج منها المنهج التاريخي لتتبع المشكلات تاريخياً وكذلك المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لوصف الظاهرات الطبيعية والبشرية بمنطقة الدراسة، كما تم استخدام المنهج الإحصائي لتحليل المعلومات التي تم الحصول عليها حيث تم استخدام برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية لتحليل العلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) لعملية التحليل. كما تم استخدام طرق جمع المعلومات الأولية المتمثلة في الملاحظة والمقابلات مع ذوي الاختصاصي والإستبانة، أيضاً تم استخدام طرق جمع المعلومات الثانوية التي تضم الكتب والمراجع والرسائل الجامعية وتقارير المصالح الحكومية والانترنت. تم تصميم استبانه شملت (302) مبحوث يمثلون نسبة 10% من جملة عدد الأسر بمنطقة الدراسة، وتم استخدام العينة العشوائية البسيطة لاختيار المبحوثين من أحياء المدينة المختارة. توصلت الدراسة لعدة نتائج أهمها أن التمدد السكني كان على حساب الأراضي الزراعية وهذا ما أكده 2,13% من عدد المبحوثين، أيضاً الدراسة أوضحت أن هناك تعدي على الميادين العامة وتحويلها لأراضي سكنية، أيضاً الدراسة أوضحت أن بعض احياء المدينة قد تم تخطيطها في أماكن منخفضة مما يعرضها للسيول بنسبة 3,5% من عدد المبحوثين، الدراسة أثبتت أن هناك ضغط على خدمات التعليم بنسبة 5,20% وخدمات الصحة بنسبة 5,77%. أوصت الدراسة بعدة توصيات لمعالجة مشكلات الاستخدام السكني بمنطقة الدراسة منها إبعاد المناطق الصناعية من الأحياء وعدم تخطيط أحياء بمناطق منخفضة وأيضاً إيقاف التعدي على الأراضي الزراعية والميادين العامة إضافة لتوفير الخدمات الصحية والعلاجية للأحياء الطرفة ومعالجة مشكلة السكن العشوائي شمال وجنوب المدينة وإيجاد حلول لهذه المشكلات تساعد جهات الاختصاص.	en_US
