Abstract:
This paper is aimed to identify the role of Public Relations in improving the performance of
business organizations, and introduce the tasks and activities that are done by the public relation
section in Asylaya Sugar Company. The researchers followed descriptive analytical method and used
a questionnaire to collect the data from a sample They used statistical packages for social sciences
(SPSS) program for analyzing the data. It is found that there is ambiguity concerning the activities
of the section, confinement of its tasks to organizing colloquies and lectures to reflect company
image to the external public. It recommends the necessity of communication with the company
retired, and taking care of them for benefiting from their experiences.
