تطبيق قرينة ثوم الحرارية على راحة الإنسان في مدينة الإحساء بالمملكة العربية السعودية

Abstract:

هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد أثر عنصري الحرارة والرطوبة على راحة الإنسان الحرارية في مدينة الإحساء شرقي المملكة العربية السعودية خلال الفترة من 1985 حتى 2014م.ويفترض البحث التطرف المناخي المتمثل في حالات الانزعاج الحراري خلال فصول السنة. استخدم البحث المنهج الاستقرائي والمنهج الاستنباطي وذلك بتطبيق قرينة ثوم الحرارية:THI (DI) = T-0.55(1-h)(T – 14.5). واعتمد في جمع المعلومات على البيانات المناخية من محطة الأرصاد الجوية. وأكدت نتائج البحث وجود علاقة مباشرة بين عنصري الحرارة والرطوبة النسبية، والراحة والانزعاج الحراري للإنسان في منطقة الدراسة. وتتفاوت الراحة الحرارية بين الانزعاج الحراري الشديد، والانزعاج الحراري، وحالات الانزعاج المتوسط،والراحة المناخية، والراحة النسبية، والراحة التامة. وبالنسبة للتوزيع الفصلي للراحة الحرارية حسب قرينة ثوم فإن فصل الشتاء تميز بالراحة النسبية. بينما تباينت الحالات خلال فصل الربيع بين الراحة والانزعاج. وبلغت قيمة القرينة الانزعاج الشديدة خلال شهور فصل الصيف. في حين تميز فصل الخريف بالراحة النسبية.وبناءً على دليل قرينة ثوم نستطيع وصف مناخ منطقة الإحساء بالراحة النسبية حيث يشعر ما بين 10% وحتى 50% من الناس بعدم الراحة خلال فترة الدراسة. وتوصي الدراسة بضرورة ربط الأنشطة البشرية والفعاليات المختلفة كالدورات الرياضية ومهرجانات السياحية والمؤتمرات وغيرها من الفعاليات بالراحة الحرارية للإنسان. وكذلك ضرورة ربط الإجازات بشهور الانزعاج الحراري.

Description:

The study aims to specify the effect of temperature and humidity on human comfort/discomfort in Al-Hasa city (Eastern Saudi Arabia) during the period extending from 1985 to 2014. The hypothesis of the study is that during the mentioned period the city of Al-Hasais subjected to extreme climatic conditions, which lead in general to high levels of discomfort for the people of the city.To test this hypothesis, the research uses the deductive/inductive approaches, applying Thom's formula which states that THI (DI = T - 0.55 ( 1 - h )( T – 14.5)The temperature and relative humidity data used for the calculation of the formula above have been taken from Al- Hasa meteorological station. The results of the calculation revealed a direct connection between temperature / humidity and human thermal comfort/discomfort in the area of the study. More specifically, varied levels of comfort during the months of the study were found including extreme thermal discomfort, moderate discomfort, relative comfort, and complete comfort. As for the seasonal levels of comfort/discomfort, the results showed that winter was characterized by relative comfort, while during the spring season it ranges from comfort to discomfort. The summer season was characterized by extreme levels of discomfort. During autumn, the city witnessed moderate relative comfort. Hence, based on Thom's thermal index the climate of the Al-Hasacan be described as relatively comfortable where between 10 % and 50% of the inhabitants of the region of the study feel uncomfortable during the period of study. The study recommends that human activities in Al-Hasa should take place during the period of climatic comfort while holidays should be scheduled during the period of climatic discomfort
