dc.description	The study aims to know the role of regional planning and region development projects in achieving the political , economical and social stability of urban and rural societies. The study consists of four sections The first one concerns with the conceptional framework of economic development and regional planning beside the experiences of the third world in this field. The second section concerns with the economic development in the Sudan, while the third section concerns with decentralization and its relation with the economic development. The last section introduced the unbalance of regional development in the Sudan and its relation with social justice. The findings of the study have proved that the plans and programs of development in the Sudan focused on the sectoral development and ignored planning for regional development through the equitable distribution of investment, a thing which led to deterioration of development in some regions of the Sudan. The sequences of such deterioration was the emergence of rebel movements in the West and East of the Sudan. These movements demanding development and social justice.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة دور التخطيط الإقليمي ومشاريع التنمية الإقليمية في السودان في تحقيق الاستقرار السياسي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي للمجتمعات الحضرية والريفية. وجاءت الدراسة في أربعة محاور، تطرق المحور الأول إلي الإطار المفاهيمي لقضية التنمية الاقتصادية والتخطيط الإقليمي وتجارب دول العالم في هذا المجال، ثم تناول المحور الثاني موضوع التنمية الاقتصادية في السودان، والمحور الثالث تناول موضوع اللامركزية وعلاقتها بالتنمية الاقتصادية، والمحور الرابع والأخير تعرض إلي حقيقة التنمية الإقليمية غير المتوازنة في السودان وعلاقتها بقضية العدالة الاجتماعية. خلصت الدراسة إلي أن خطط وبرامج التنمية في السودان ركزت علي التنمية القطاعية، ولم تهتم بالتخطيط للتنمية الإقليمية من خلال التوزيع العادل للاستثمارات علي أقاليم السودان المختلفة، الشيء الذي أدى إلي تدهور التنمية في بعض أقاليم السودان وما ترتب علي ذلك من ظهور الحركات المتمردة في تلك الأقاليم والمناطق (الشرق والغرب) مطالبةً بتحقيق التنمية والعدالة الاجتماعية في مناطقها.	en_US
