dc.description.abstract Abstract The study problem is to find answers to some questions such as , why the learners of English language, as a foreign language , are mispronouncing , some , consonant sounds ? ,Is there a relation between (Mother Tongue) and mispronunciation of English consonants sound ? This study aims at identifying the common errors committed by the beginners students in the of English consonants pronunciation .To discover the main reasons of mispronunciation of English consonant sounds . This study is trying to test the following hypotheses ,there is a relation between methodology, method of English language teaching and mispronunciation of English consonant sounds , the mother tongue has an effect on pronunciation of English consonant sounds , there is a relation between the teacher of English language , training and mispronunciation of English consonant sounds . The researcher used the descriptive method to make the theoretical framework of the study . As for the study instrument a closed ended questionnaire was designed to collect data from the study subjects . From the study results, There is a direct relation , between methodology of English language and errors made by the students in English consonants , pronunciation. There is a direct relation between method of English language teaching and the errors committed by students in English consonant's pronunciation. From the study recommendations , the necessity of developing adequate methodology of English language to help the students in pronouncing English consonants. the necessity of developing adequate method of English language teaching to assist student to avoid errors committed in English consonant's pronunciation. en_US
