dc.description.abstract This study aims to investing in the Using Information Communication Technology(ICT) for Learning English Language for high secondary school students in Kosti town in the academic year 2015/2016. The study sample consist of 61 students. From among them 31 females and 30 males; their age is between 13 and 17 years old. This study is drawing attention on the importance of using ICT for English Language Learning in accordance with this century’s requirements. However, the study is seeking to create an attractive environment for the students as well as to solve the problems that facing students in language learning and keep them updated with what is going on in the world as well. However; the research problems is epitomized in the problems that facing the high secondary school students in English language learning such as pronunciation problems, misunderstanding and misconception of the language vocabulary, grammar problems and speaking problems. The study tries to come up with effective solutions for the above mentioned problems by using technology for language learning such as using Internet, video and audio sessions, mobile applications, PowerPoint slides and so on.it also reflect The significance of the study Thus; This study applied the descriptive analytical methodology; thou the accidental samples have been taken by using questionnaire which is got distributed to high secondary school students. The most important results that the study come up with; is that using ICT for language learning is very successful and motivating to the students. Worth mentioning that one of the recommendations is to generalize the idea of applying the ICT learning in our Sudanese schools to benefit more students as in the countries that it already applied it. en_US
