dc.description.abstract This study aims at investigating the impact of listening activities on teaching English Language to Beginners Pupils . To carry out the study the researcher conducts a questionnaire which is distributed to English teachers in Kosti muncibility , basic schools .The number of samples was (40) from among them 20 were males and 20 were females The study shows some findings such as teaching better listening activities to Beginners Pupils makes them good at English. Teachers who pay attention to teaching listening activities get good students – young teachers who begin learning with good listening activities are successful students. Children who start learning English at an early ages show better performance than those who start at a late age. The researchers set accordingly some recommendations that listening activities must be given a maximum priority by the English teachers. English teachers must be proficient, qualified and well trained. They should not ignore listening activities. Ministry of education should hinder all challenges which stand against the English teacher performance towards listening activities such as CDs. en_US
