dc.description	The study dealt with the role of electronic information sources in scientific research between need and problems of use. Study the case of faculty members in government universities in Khartoum state (University of Khartoum, Nilin University, Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan University of Science and Technology and Al-Zaim Al-Azhari University). The aim of the research is to shed light on The importance of these resources and their place among the library's collections. And determining the best way to choose and acquire it. And to know the aspects of its organization and technical treatment of it. And knowing how to make it available and benefit from it of all kinds. The problem of the study is that this category of information vessels did not find full attention as they are information containers of their own nature among the holdings of libraries and information centers. Rather, their share was only some of the interests or signals from those interested in the field of libraries and information in the ways to obtain and benefit from them. To collect and classify data, case study methodology and statistical approach. The study reached a number of results, including that most of the studied sample use electronic information sources and that the reasons for their use are multiple. Some of them use them to conduct scientific research, and some of them use them to develop capabilities as a faculty member in the preparation of scientific research. We find that the faculty members who browse e-mail are one of the most popular services, as e-mail is one of the most widespread services in all networks connected to the Internet. The study recommended several proposals, the most important of which are: Working on providing training courses for faculty members in the form of courses, lectures and seminars in order to train them on how to search and retrieve on the Internet and how to continuously search and retrieve electronic information databases, and work to prepare guides for specialized information sites on the Internet and define Study community these sites. And activating the university's role in the field of using the Internet by working to introduce the Internet in all colleges of public universities in the state of Khartoum where this service does not exist, and working to improve and develop the Internet service in colleges that already have Internet service for all faculty members.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	تناولت الدراسة دور مصادر المعلومات الالكترونية في البحث العلمي بين الحاجة ومشاكل الاستخدام دراسة حالة اعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات الحكومية بولاية الخرطوم (جامعة الخرطوم ، جامعة النيلين ، جامعة ام درمان الاسلامية، جامعة السودان للعلوم والتكنلوجيا وجامعة الزعيم الازهري) هدف البحث الى إلغاء الضوء علي أهمية هذه المصادر ومكانتها بين مجموعات المكتبة. و تحديد الطريقة المثلى لاختيارها واقتنائها . والتعرف علي أوجه تنظيمها والمعالجة الفنية لها. ومعرفة كيفية إتاحتها والإفادة منها بشتى أنواعها. تتمثل مشكلة الدراسة في انه لم تجد هذه الفئة من أوعية المعلومات الاهتمام الكامل باعتبارها أوعية معلومات لها طبيعتها الخاصة من بين مقتنيات المكتبات ومراكز المعلومات بل كان نصيبها فقط بعض الاهتمامات أو الاشارات من المهتمين في مجال المكتبات والمعلومات فيطرق الحصول عليها والاستفادة منها .استخدمت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي لجمع وتبويب البيانات و منهج دراسة الحالة والمنهج الاحصائي . توصلت الدراسة الى عدد من النتائج من ضمنها ان اغلب العينة المدروسة يستخدمون مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية وأن أسباب استخدامهم متعددة فمنهم من يستخدمها لاجراء البحوث العلمية، ومنهم من يستخدمها لتطوير القدرات كعضو هيئة التدريس في اعداد البحوث العلمية. نجد ان اعضاء هيئة التدريس الذين يقومون بتصفح البريد الالكتروني من اكثر الخدمات انتشارا حيث يفيد البريد الالكتروني من اكثر الخدمات انتشارا في جميع الشبكات المرتبطة بشبكة الانترنت . أوصت الدراسة بمقترحات عده أهمها : العمل على توفير دورات تدريبية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس على شكل دورات ومحاضرات وندوات من أجل تدريبهم على كيفية البحث والاسترجاع على شبكة الإنترنت وكيفية البحث والاسترجاع في قواعد المعلومات الإلكترونية بشكل مستمر .والعمل على إعداد أدلة بمواقع المعلومات المتخصصة على شبكة الإنترنت وتعريف مجتمع الدراسة بهذه المواقع. وتفعيل دور الجامعة في مجال استخدام شبكة الإنترنت بالعمل على إدخال الإنترنت في جميع كليات الجامعات الحكومية بولاية الخرطوم التي لا توجد بها هذه الخدمة ، والعمل على تحسين خدمة الإنترنت وتطويرها في الكليات التي بها خدمة الإنترنت بالفعل لجميع اعضاء هيئة التدريس.	en_US
