| dc.description | In this research, the existing maintenance practice was examined and evaluation in terms of performance and cost. A study of the existing practice revealed that. Maintenance cost represent19% of the production cost. Though this percentage seems to be acceptable according to the international standards it does not reflect the fact that most of the spare parts ordered by the maintenance department is not actually purchased. Using simplex method proved to provid batter maintenance interms of quality and cost. The cost of maintenance was redused by 40%. By using pareto analysis via an excel software. It was found that, the boiler was the most effective item on the cost maintenance and should be replaced immediately. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | في هذا البحث تم فحص وتقييم لممارسات الصيانة الحالية من حيث الأداء والتكلفة. وكشفت دراسة الممارسة الحالية ان تكلفة الصيانة تمثل 19% من تكلفة الإنتاج، على الرغم من أن هذه النسبة تبدو مقبولة وفقا للمعايير الدولية إلا أنها لا تعكس حقيقة الواقع لأن معظم قطع الغيار التي طلبها قسم الصيانة لم يتم شراؤها بالفعل. استخدام طريقة السمبلكس أثبتت أنها توفر صيانة أفضل من حيث الجودة والتكلفة لأنه تم تخفيض تكلفة الصيانة بنسبة 40% ، وباستخدام تحليل باريتو اكسل وجد أن المرجل هو العنصر الأكثر فعالية في تكلفة الصيانة ويجب استبداله على الفور. | en_US |
