dc.description	This study was carried out at 2016-2017, in the public libraries in Khartoum State, it aimed to know the percentage of the public libraries contribution in raising the awareness about Harmful Habits, the study includes five chapters, the first one :methodology of research, second Public library, third the role library, fourth the reality public library in State Khartoum and the field of dissertation consequently. The descriptive method (case study and survey) were used; all of the public libraries in Khartoum State were admitted to the study. The main results and recommendations were as follows: The Results: Concerning the intellectual production, The common libraries in Khartoum State are not up to date this can be clearly indicated by the presence of old references on their shelves and most of them were offered by some families and individuals as gifts and charities and they are deficient to enough information concerning the Harmful Habits. All of the present Libraries in Khartoum State were initiated by were offered by some families and individuals as gifts and charities in addition to the fact that they are funded through gifts and shares of the members which is reflected as poor supplying with the references. No Governmental Libraries were found Through the above findings, the recommendations are presented below: He drew the attention of those responsible for Public libraries to take care of them to play their role effectively in raising awareness of Harmful customs in society. It is important That the Public library should do its role by raising of the community awareness towards the Harmful Habits and it should be their top priority of The importance of the Public libraries should be considered by the state and fund should be saved for these Libraries and Memorandum agreement should be held between the public Library and the Media to achieve the planned objectives towards the Community. Designing of Periodicals ,Nadwat, Lectures and Dialogues should held in coordination with the specialized organizations . It is important to stress on the initiation of Public libraries, putting in mind the Geographical Distribution to prevent their accumulation at certain	en_US
dc.description.abstract	أُجريت هذه الدراسة في العام 2016 - 2017 م في المكتبات العامة بولاية الخرطوم وهدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة نسبة إسهام المكتبة العامة في التوعية بالعادات الضارة بولاية الخرطوم ، وتقع الدراسة في خمسة فصول، الفصل الاول منهجية البحث والفصل الثاني مفهوم المكتبة العامة ، أهدافها، مقوماتها والفصل الثالث التكنولوجيا والمكتبة العامة الفصل الرابع المكتبة العامة والمجتمع الفصل الخامس الدراسة الميدانية وإتبعت الدارسة المنهج الوصفي بشقيه دراسة الحالة والدراسة المسحية بلإضافة المنهج التاريخي (الوثائقي)وتم توظيف الاستبانة كأداة فعالة لجمع المعلومات والتي غطت المكتبات العامة بولاية الخرطوم وقد توصلت إلى نتائج من أهمها : • المكتبات العامة بولاية الخرطوم غير مواكبة للإنتاج الفكري وهذا يظهر جلياً في عدم حداثة المصادر الموجودة على الارفف في اغلبها عبارة عن هبات وتبرعات من أسرمعروفة وأفراد ولا تتوفر بها معلومات كافية عن العادات الضارة. • معظم المكتبات العامة الموجودة بولاية الخرطوم كلها تم إنشاؤها بمجهودات فردية وهبات من أسر معروفة وتعتمد في ميزانيتها على التبرعات والاشتراكات البسيطة وهذا يظهر في عدم التزويد ولا توجود مكتبات عامة منشاء من قٍبل الدولة. ومن خلال النتائج أعلاه نتجت التوصيات أدناه : • لفت إنتباه القائمين على أمر المكتبات العامة بضرورة الاهتمام بها لتؤدي دورها بفعالية في التوعية بالعادات الضارة في المجتمع. • اهتمام المكتبة بالتوعية نحو المجتمع بالعادات الضارة ووضع ذلك من أولوياتها . • ضرورة إهتمام الدولة بالمكتبات العامة ووضع ميزانية كافية لها. • عمل نشرات وندوات ومحاضرات وحوارات مجتمعية بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة بعمل توأمة بين المكتبة والإعلام وذلك لتحقيق الأهداف المعنية تجاه المجتمع.وذلك للوصول إلى الأهداف المراد تحقيقها. • أنشاء مكتبات عامة مع مراعاة تحديد المناطق الجغرافية بالتساوي حتى لا تنحصر في منطقة جغرافية بعينها.	en_US
