dc.description	This research dealt with the deterioration of forests in Sennar Locality for the period from1980 to 2019. The aim of this research is to identify the causes of forests deterioration and the environmental , economic and social impacts of deterioration. The research used the historical method ، the analytical descriptive method ، the statistical method and the methods of collecting the primary information , which are in the observation , interview and questionnaire , in addition to methods of collecting secondary information ، which includes references , reports , university researches and the internet . Two hundred and eight heads of families from 13 locations were chosen by means of a simple random sapling , representing 2.5% of the household heads in the area. The obtained data was analyzed by using the Statistical packages for social sciences (spss). The study found that there was a deterioration of forests in the study area , where 75% of the respondents confirmed this . The study showed that there were several reasons that contributed to the deterioration of forests , where 49% of the respondents explained that the natural causes Contributed to the deterioration of forests represented in drought by 27% , wind and heat by 16% and natural fire by 6% of the study sample . The study showed that the human factors contributed to the deterioration of forests in the study area. 42% of the respondents said that the spored of agriculture contributed to the deterioration of forests in the study area. 27% of the respondents confirmed that overgrazing led to deterioration of forests in the study area. 23% of the respondents confirmed that contributed over cutting In the deterioration of forests in the study area and 8% of the respondents confirmed that fires caused by human factors contributed to the deterioration of forests in the study area . The study also recommended the need to activate the laws to protect the forests and stop the overuse and the use of firewood alternatives . The study also recommended the establishment of fire lines to reduce the spread of fires . The study also recommended that citizens should be made aware of the importance of forests and keeping them safe . The study also showed that there is environmental , economic and social importance of forests in the study area.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	تناول هذا البحث تدهور الغابات بمحلية سنار للفترة من 1980 ــــــ 2019م و هدف هذا البحث لمعرفة الأسباب التي أدت إلي تدهور الغابات و الآثار البيئية و الإقتصادية و الإجتماعية الناجمة عن التدهور. واستخدم البحث المنهج التاريخي و المنهج الوصفي التحليلي و المنهج الإحصائي و طرق جمع المعلومات الأولية و التي تتمثل في الملاحظة و المقابلة و الإستبيانه، إضافة لطرق جمع المعلومات الثانوية و التي تضم المراجع و التقارير و الرسائل الجامعية و الانترنت. و قد تم اختيار (208) رب أسرة من ثلاثة عشرة موقعا عن طريق العينة العشوائية البسيطة و التي تمثل نسبة 2.5% من أرباب الأسر بالمنطقة . و تم تحليل المعلومات التي تم الحصول عليها عن طريق الحزمة الإحصائية لتحليل العلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) وتوصلت الدراسة إلي أن هنالك تدهور للغابات بمنطقة الدراسة حيث أكدا ذلك 75% من المبحوثين ، و أوضحت الدراسة أن هنالك عدة أسباب ساهمت في تدهور الغابات حيث أوضح 49% من المبحوثين أن الأسباب الطبيعية ساهمت في تدهور الغابات متمثلة في الجفاف بنسبة 27% و الرياح و الحرارة بنسبة 16% والنيران الطبيعية بنسبة 6% من العينة المبحوثة . كما أوضحت الدراسة أن الأسباب البشرية ساهمت في تدهور الغابات بمنطقة الدراسة حيث أوضح 42% من المبحوثين أن إنتشار الزراعة ساهم في تدهور الغابات بمنطقة الدراسة و 27% من المبحوثين أكدوا أن الرعي الجائر أدي إلي تدهور الغابات بمنطقة الدراسة و 23% من المبحوثين أكدوا أن القطع الجائر ساهم في تدهور الغابات بمنطقة الدراسة و 8% من المبحوثين أكدوا أن الحرائق بسبب البشر ساهمت في تدهور الغابات بمنطقة الدراسة . و قد خرجت الدراسة بعدة توصيات تضمنت ضرورة تفعيل القوانين لحماية الغابات و إيقاف القطع الجائر وإستخدام بدائل للحطب الوقود ، كما أوصت الدراسة بضرورة إقامة خطوط النار للحد من إنتشار الحرائق كما أوصت الدراسة بضرورة توعية المواطنين بأهمية الغابات و المحافظة عليها ، كذلك أوضحت الدراسة أن هنالك أهمية بيئية و إقتصادية و إجتماعية للغابات بمنطقة الدراسة .	en_US
