Abstract:

تناول البحث اثر التجارة الخارجية على الاحتياطي النقدي الجانبي في السودان خلال الفترة 2000- 2015ممرتكزا على الفرضيات التالية: تنامي الطلب على الواردات يؤدي الى استنزاف الاحتياطي النقدي الاجنبي ،زيادة الصادرات تقود الى زيادة الاحتياطي النقدي الاجنبي ،تؤثر تقلبات سعر الصرف على الاحتياطي النقدي الاجنبي،اعتمد البحث على نموذج يتكون من معادلة خطية واحدة متعددة المتغيرات ، تم استخدام العجز في الميزان التجاري والفجوة بين سعر الصرف الرسمي ونظيره في السوق الموازي كمتغيرات مفسرة للاحتياطي النقدي الاجنبي.باستخدام طريقة المربعات الصغرى العادية توصل البحث الى نتائج عديدة اهمها:أن اتساع الفجوة بين سعر الصرف الرسمي وسعر الصرف في السوق الموازي يقود إلى تدهور الاحتياطي النقدي الأجنبي ويمثل السبب الرئيس في تدهوره خلال فترة الدراسة كما أن تقلبات العجز في الميزان الجاري ذات تأثير أقل وأنها لم تكن سببا أساسيا في تدهور الاحتياطي النقدي الاجنبي .لذلك اوصى البحث بضرورة محافظة الدولة على قدر كافي من الاحتياطي النقدي الاجنبي لتلبية الطلب المتزايد على الاستيراد ولمواجهة الاخطار المالية المتوقعة،ايضا على الدولة ان تبذل جهد في سبيل دعم الصادرات السودانية والاهتمام بإزالة الأسباب الجذرية التي تقود إلى اتساع فجوة سعر الصرف مثل الاهتمام بزيادة الإنتاج الحقيقي ، ترشيد وتنظيم استخدامات النقد الأجنبي وفق الأولويات الاقتصادية الأمر الذي يمكن أن ينعكس بصورة ايجابية على تكوين الاحتياطيات النقدية الاجنبية.

Description:

The study examined the impact of foreign trade on the foreign currency reserve in the Sudan during the period 2000 - 2015 based on the following assumptions: The growing demand for imports leads to the depletion of the foreign exchange reserves, the increase in exports leads to the increase of the foreign exchange reserves, the exchange rate fluctuations affect foreign exchange reserves,The research was based on a model consisting of one linear multi-variables equation. The deficit in the trade balance and the gap between the official exchange rate and its counterpart in the parallel market were used as explanatory variables for the variations in foreign exchange reserve. Using the Ordinary LeastSquares method, OLS, the search attained the following results: That the widening gap between the official exchange rate and the exchange rate in the parallel market leads to a deterioration of foreign exchange reserves and it is the main reason for its deterioration during the study period. While the results indicate that the volatility of the current account deficit has less impact and that it has not been a major cause. Therefore, the study recommended that Sudan should maintain sufficient foreign cash reserves to meet the increasing import demand and to face the expected financial risks. Sudan should also make an effort to support Sudanese exports and intend to remove the root causes that lead to widening exchange rate gap, the rationalization and regulation of the use of foreign exchange in accordance with economic priorities, which can be reflected positively on the composition of foreign cash reserves.
