A sample of (73) English language teachers was chosen to fill the questionnaire. The study focused on two factors that related to the teachers performance and teaching process which were training and experience. A descriptive analytical design was used to find out the impact of these two factors on the performance of EFL teachers. A teacher's questionnaire was used for data collection. The data collection was analyzed by using the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS). The findings revealed a positive significant relation between the two factors which are training and experience and teachers' performance in EFL teaching. well trained teachers represent better performance in teaching and affect positively on students outcome. Also they proved that Highly experienced teachers offer perfect performance and achieve perfect students' outcome. The study concluded with some recommendations which offered to EFL teachers, supervisors of English language, policymakers and administrations of general education in the hope of helping EFL teachers for better teaching performance. تھدف ھذه الدراسة لبحث العوامل المؤثرة في أداء معلمي اللغة الإنجلیزیة في محلیة كوستي بولایة النیل الأبیض في جمھوریة السودان. اختیرت عینة تحتوي على ) (73من معلمي اللغة الإنجلیزیة2 لملء الإستبانة. ركزت الدراسة على عاملین من العوامل المتعلقة بأداء المعلمین و بعملیة التدریس وھما عاملي التدریب والخبرة. اتبعت الدراسة المنھج الوصفي التحلیلي لمعرفة اثر عاملي التدریب والخبرة في أداء المعلمین لدى عینات الدراسة. تم استخدام استبانة المعلم لجمع البیانات. ومن ثم تم تحلیل البیانات باستخدام الحزمة الإحصائیة للعلوم الاجتماعیة ) (SPSSلمعالجة بیانات الدراسة. أظھرت النتائج أن ھناك علاقة موجبة بین عاملي التدریب والخبرة وأداء المعلمین قي تدریس اللغة الانجلیزیة باعتبارھا لغة أجنبیة. برھنت نتائج الدراسة أن المعلمین المدربین تدریباً جیداَ یقدمون أداءاً أفضل ویؤثرون إیجاباً على مخرجات الطلاب. وأیضاً أثبتت النتائج أن المعلمین ذوي الخبرة العالیة یقدمون اداءاً ممتازاَ في عملیة التدریس ویحققون مخرجات طلاب ممتازة. ختمت الدراسة ببعض التوصیات والتي قدمت لمعلمي اللغة الإنجلیزیة ولموجھي ومشرفي اللغة الإنجلیزیة ولواضعي السیاسات التعلیمیة وإدارات التعلیم العام من أجل تطویر أداء معلمي اللغة الإنجلیزیة بغرض تحقیق أداء تدریسي أفضل Mon, 01 Jan 2018 00:00:00 GMT http://dspace.mahdi.edu.sd:8080/xmlui//xmlui/handle/123456789/495 2018-01-01T00:00:00Z http://dspace.mahdi.edu.sd:8080/xmlui//xmlui/handle/123456789/494 The Style of Daniel Defoe in the Novel "Robinson Crusoe Salih Abdallah Ahmed Abdallah, Mohammed Agab Ali ELnaeem This study aims to investigate the style used by Daniel Defoe in his novel Robinson Crusoe. The study explores the style of writing in Defoe‘s novel through features of style including diction (word choice) and syntactic structures. The researchers have used a descriptive analytical method to find out the elements of style used by the author in the story. The data were collected from different sources such as the original volume of the novel Robinson Crusoe, collections of English literature, books, periodicals, articles, websites established in the internet for the English literature. The findings revealed that the story is written in plain, straightforward, sequentially and lucid colloquial prose. Written in superb style, the language is simple and communicative all through. The study also revealed that the story is characterized by the use of minute details, the form of autobiography or the first person narrator as a narrative technique, the use of a nautical language to add a more depth to the realistic narration. The study concluded with some recommendations in relation to the analysis of the English literature.
